Data Linked to Your Identity

The following data is collected and linked to your identity for app functionality:

  • Name — used for your profile display and personalization.
  • Email Address — used for account authentication and communication.
  • User ID — a unique identifier used to maintain your account, bookmarks, and preferences.

Data Not Linked to Your Identity

The following data is collected for analytics purposes and is not linked to your identity. This data may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies:

  • Product Interaction — information about how you interact with the App, such as screens viewed and features used.
  • Device ID — a unique device identifier used for analytics and performance monitoring.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and improve the Valto service, including account management and personalization
  • Authenticate your identity via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In
  • Analyze usage patterns and app performance to enhance user experience
  • Send you updates about new features (if you opted in)

3. Authentication

Valto uses Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In for account authentication. When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and a unique user identifier from the authentication provider. We do not receive or store your password.

4. Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely in our cloud infrastructure (Supabase). We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Analytics data is collected and processed using third-party analytics services.

5. Third-Party Services

Valto may link to third-party retailer websites when you use discount codes. These sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites. We also use third-party services for authentication (Apple, Google) and analytics.

6. Data Sharing & Tracking

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Analytics data (Product Interaction and Device ID) may be used to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies for analytics purposes. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

Valto is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
